Canine Caper

The title of this article in the UK's 'Mirror' is "Hunting dog shoots 2 men in Scotland". Yup. Two men who were hunting geese on farmland were shot by a dog. Apparently there was a loaded rifle lying on the ground and the dog stepped on it. The men were not fatally injured but hit in the legs with some heavy duty shot. As one of the men in the party was quoted as saying, "They [the guns] will have a heavy load because geese are relatively difficult to bring down." Amazingly this is not the first article to report such an incident.

Good doggies. It just seems so right, doesn't it? Justice does sometimes win out. I thought you had to wait till your next life to reap the rewards of your dharma in this life. Maybe that still holds true and in their next lives those hunters will be standing in front of a cannon when an elephant accidentally walks by and steps on it. Talk about heavy load! That's not mean; that's karma. :-)
