Do You Trust Your Eyes?
It's a long story and I'll detail it later but we've been working on getting Obi comfortable (and Banu comfortable with him) being on the other side of our dining room doors so that we can eventually let Frosty back out into the bottom part of the house. We're not ready to bring Obi over permanently but it's going pretty well - look:

That's good news. If they can all get along besides Frosty, that's a good step in the right direction. I just worry that Obi will never want to leave his plant pot on the other side.

We plan to make his new area very appealing. If he needs a plant pot to be happy, a plant pot he shall have. There's also the issue of a second litter box and where it will go, and other essential details that need to be worked out.
That's great news! Wow, how much better that would be. Chappu will have to go to the other side more often to see her beloved Obus.
Actually we've had to stop Chappu from going over there because she was terrorizing Banu. Crazy isn't it. So what I envision are times when Frosty spends time where he is now so that Obus can came back over and visit.
