Before I write about my attempts to meet the terms of the Earth Week Challenge I would like to provide you with a video of a very thoughtful man named Chris Jordan. If you go to Chris Jordan's website you can click on the statement (upper right) of his mission as a photographic artist. The title is "Intolerable Beauty: Portraits of American Mass Consumption." As you listen to him speak you will detect great passion in his need to communicate his ideas about what he sees happening. His artwork is spectacular and speaks for itself... and for me.
